Orlean's Canal at Combreux Photo

Photographer’s Note

Combreux - Loiret - 205 inhabitants - Altitude 127 meters.

The canal penetrates in the domanial zone of the forest of Orleans not far from the Valley Pond; this forest is one of vastest in France where the choice of the pathes walk are not limited.
Here is a view on other side in east direction.

des très belles couleurs de fin d'automne dans cette photo parfaitement cadrée, c'est toujours joli quand un cours d'eau entame une courbe.
Mais le point fort de cette photo,, c'est qu'elle appaise.

Bonsoir Didi,
A Good capture and a fine close-up approach satellite view of the local you shot this fine picture. I have no Satelitte views from Azores what is really a fault. I like the low angle approach with a great enquadrement of the both borders od the channeln and the good management of light you did. The addition of the person at the right is also a good reference and humain inclusion in this composition. Good soft tone colors and fine sharpness. Very well captured and composed.

Salut Didi. A quiet and pleasant photo of the canal, with natural-looking colors in the subtle light. The slight bend of the water is good for the composition, as is the included person by the shore. It seems you have a considerably milder weather; I was walking in the snow taking photos today ..

Une bien jolie photographie d'une fin d'automne annoncée.
Les arbres se sont dépouillés de leurs feuilles et frissonnent au vent de décembre.
J'aime beaucoup la courbure que prend le canal et l'emplacement du pêcheur.
La vue façon panoramique est très bien réalisée.

Well composed shot of the canal, which you use to good effect as a lead-in. I like the strong light/shade contrast. I see there is still some autumn colour on the trees.

A very well composed shot of this great canal area. I like the lines and graphics here, as the eye is taken along both the path and the canal and to the curve. The trees all seem to dance and bow and flow in symmetry with the canal. Very fine work, Didi. All the best.

mi piace molto la prospettiva dolce del fiume..., la luce è molto bella e la cosa che mi paice di più è il pescatore solitario al lavoro..
