You do not see many of these beasts in France. A good capture, nicely illuminated with excellent colours and sharpness. The couple chatting to one side offer a good sense of scale.

Il y en a des tonnes de ces camions construit au Québec sur les routes américaines. Du muscle à l'état pur avec en prime la couchette toujours utile.

Unfortunately photographs of vehicles don't really seem to go down all that well on TE - but, as a dedicated "petrolhead", I love them!
What a magnificent beast of a machine, quite different from the lorries or trucks we see in Britain and the rest of Europe but I suppose these massive tractor units are designed for pulling huge trailers over very long distances in America.
This, of course, is a "customised" truck with gorgeous shiny paintwork and all the chrome and "bling" you could possibly ask for. It must take hours of dedicated work even to manage to keep it clean.
A well taken photograph in which the bright sunshine picks out all the details superbly well. Fine composition and excellent details and sharpness.
P.S. In view of your past connections with Le Mans, you might be interested in this - a replica of a Le Mans Bentley (a few years before your time at Le Mans) - the cars Ettore Bugatti referred to as "Le Camion Plus Vite du Monde"!
