Photographer's Note

It is the bigest of the Loire castles. François the 1st, king de France ordered his construction. Work started in 1518, but with died of the king in 1559 the Castle remains unfinished. Work was continued under the reign of Henri II. The building comprises 440 rooms, 365 chimneys, 13 staircases principal and 70 secondaries. Sensitivity: 160 ISO.
