For G.H. and G.H.
Isn't it amazing? When I see someone in red, I think: Gunnar would like it. And seeing nice scene with people, in any colour, I think about Gert. So when I noticed this girl, probably Russian, posing for her friend on the roof of Chambord castle, I had to make this photo and now to dedicate it to Gunnar and Gert (with the same second name).

Tu as bien su saisir l'occasion offerte.

very nice, malgo ~
you could also call this shot "how to model a castle." ;)
with her red coat, heels, dark sunglasses, and general attitude, she makes the scene that much more interesting. nice dedication to the two GH's :)

Of course I like it! I also like the way she has positioned herself on the diagonal line that follows the barrier and continues along the roof. Was this from the King´s tower or from God´s tower? But I remember the view up here. And thanks for the kind dedication!

Thanks a lot for the dedication. I think we are not the only persons on TE who believe that people enliven a view or that a piece of red adds brightness. Obviously this woman makes a total difference to this composition, in spite of the beauty and elegance of the building. Surely I wouldn't have missed an opportunity like this if I had been there.

Red and black are wonderful colours for ladies clothing.
Young and older ladies see always perfect with these colours.
Everything wonderful sharp and clear this building in background
But your picture is very well taken.
Nice done, TFS.
Enjoy the day ahead,

Interesting view of Chambord Castle's upper level architecture, the classical details especially the diamond and round windows; all in warm tones and fine resolution, then a bonus with the attractive red coat female with shades.
Tight spandex pants with long boots are the rage now in the Colonies.
PS: In my youth, I loved to sip Chambord liquer. Now its coffee in the morning and ice tea afternoons....

Castle and lady are from different eras, but they both show quite distinct French style. Lots of architectural details on well fitting almost square framing. I like red details in photos too.

I just knew that both Gunnar and Gert would love this one - but who wouldn't love it? :o)
Without the person, this would be a wonderful photograph showing all the lovely textures of the old stonework and lovely reflections in the leaded windows, but the inclusion of a lady dressed in red and black, posing elegantly for her friend and perfectly placed in the frame, lifts this image to a higher level, adding splendid foreground interest.
Gorgeous light and colours, good composition and exquisite details and clarity.

W kazdym razie znakomita kompozycja i swietny efekt graficzny, jaki tu uzyskalas.

hehe, it is good to see that TE is getting used to having people in photos, at least when they are in correct places of the compo and sometimes wearing attractive colors. now, the highlight is not the castle and this lady in red, but i still cannot take my eyes of the beautiful architectural details, like a pair of beautiful legs... ehm...
