Photographer’s Note

another shot taken with my old Zeiss Ikon in 1996. I developp the roll films in a Paterson tank, and print it on paper. The quality paper is Ilford normal BW.

I'm singing in the rain...

S'il y a pas des voitures et les peinture pour le parking, ca doit être une vue très vieille. Le négatif a souffert (ou la photo) dans les années et ca donne l'air très nostalgique!

Pour moi, tu viens de sortir deux chef d'oeuvre de tes cartons, et pas poussiéreux du tout. La qualité ici est telle qu'il fait humide dans mon bureau...
Je la garderai en mémoire pour essayer de faire du faux noir et blanc avec du vrai numérique.
De plus si c'est un résultat original la qualité d'objectif (et le soufflet) de la bécane sont fantastiques.
Ya des intellectuels qui déblaterrent dans les journaux spécialisés en disant qu'on a pas une très bonne qualité dans certains appareils numériques ou la lumière ne toucherait pas le capteur exactement à la perpendiculaire (ni le tien ni les liens), et bien si c'est vrai, pourquoi ne fait on pas des numériques à soufflet.
Je vais déposer le brevet...
En attendant j'ai oublié de dire que cette image est belle.

Nice continuous tone, you've done a good scan. I also began photographing using FP4 so it is a reminiscence for me.

B&W is entirely appropriate for the old buildings present, and the "old world" feel of the setting. The composition is pleasing, normally it would be too much foreground, except the texture and contrast of the stones is a picture in itself.
