Blois - Loir-et Cher (41) - Center - Loire Valley Altitude 73 Mr. - 51.832 inhabitants - Paris 184 km. Gate of the Loire Valley, this town was in the middle of the French history: visits of king François Ier, assassination of the Duke of Guise...
An atmosphere of the impregnated Loire of rebirth architecture.
The castle of Blois offers four castles in one: medieval period, blazing Gothic, rebirth and classicism.
Built on right bank of the Loire, on the slope which dominates the river, Blois is a city with the tormented relief which kept the Middle Ages numbers of tortuous lanes.

Hi Didi, A beautiful city skyline view of the town. The castle stands out clearly because the height and it was facing the Sun. A very nice composition to have the blue water and the grass inclusion into this beautiful photo. Well done.

Salut mon ami Didi,

Le ciel et l'eau sont superbements rendus avec une belle palette de teintes bleutées. Comme souvent, un travail de composition efficace. Non seulement la ville est bien positionné dans le cadrage mais les plantes en avant donnent une belle perspective.
Et comme toujours, une note qui est informative.

Bonsoir Monsieur Didi,

Superbe ces rayons de soleil sur la ville, il me semble que la photo a perdu un peu de netteté a la compression, mais surtout j'aime bien ce premier plan dépouillé avec ses herbes sur l'eau, cela fait un superbe cadrage.

It's a bit strange to see this dry grass instead of more logical (for such place) stone embankment. And this makes this photo interesting.

Bonjour Didi,
Nice picture, as usual.
I think the picture is taken late in the afternoon that’s why I would have expected a more yellow/red glance of a low standing sun.
I’ll try to show you in the WS what I mean.

Tres belle vue de Blois. Le cadrage est ici est tres bien fait avec la loire en premier plan qui met en valeur cette superbe ville de Blois.

J'y ai travaillé dans les années 80 :)) je connais bien cette ville et ce POV ne m'est pas inconnu:)).
C'est bien fait, avec ce premier plan, c'est aussi interessant d'avoir ces beaux monuments dans le cadre.
Parfait en couleurs,et en profondeur.

(Hi Dear Didi!Now I'm out of home,far from Tehran,east-north of Iran,it's pleasance to see you from here:)

Good use of 1/3 in composition,very strong here.
I like the warm colors of the plants in bottom in beautiful blue cold color,very pleasance for eyes.
the light on the castle well captured and managed,great details and warm touch you create for it,and nice in landscape fprmat,I enjoy it.

Bonsoir Didi. A well-framed scene by the river, dipped into beautiful late afternoon light. The presentation of the old town's "skyline" makes for a good reading, being delimited by the two churches. Very nice how the low sun accentuates the red and brown colors of the weeds in the foreground. Nice shot.
