Argenton-sur-Creuse is one of those unknown but beautiful old towns in the middle of France. This view from the river is extraordanairy beautiful. I think it would be an even better site when the sun had been shining, but it was a rainy day when I vistited the town.

I'm sure it must have been a lovely view but it does not appear optimally on your photo.
There is an overexposition, so the colour of the sky has gone, there is a slight tilt, and you have lost some quality of the image during the resizing. [Sorry, my English is not perfect! :o)]
I've tryed a WS but I could not find the right blue for the sky, but you can get an idea of what I meant...
* NOTE: Thank you for the correction.

- Bonjour, belle image, dommage que le ciel soit tellement brűlé, je vais moi aussi essayer de le rectifier.

Very nice shot Gerrit! Great POV. I like the colors of your photo. Look like a early 60' shot! Great!

charming image of this old town. It looks like an old painting- the sky is a bit too white- but then we have no control over the weather.
Thank you for sharing.

This shot in your portfolio stood out. The houses, the river, the spire in the background all have the potential for a great subject. It is let down in a few areas that have already been mentioned by Viviane and others. Without knowing a bit more info, (i.e. what camera you used, and what post processing was done), it's difficult to say what control you had and how to improve future shots. keep on shooting, i'd like to see more. Yet I think this is a good opportunity to explore B&W the contents of the image are great.
