Photographer's Note

Just back from a short trip to Burgundy where I could appreciate the exceptional cultural and gastronomical patrimony.
One of my favorites was this small medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois with this magnificent "Mise au tombeau du Christ" carved in 1490 by Guillaume Chandelier.
I was in a very uncomfortable position, behind a glass window and an iron fence... and without a tripod(!) but wanted to share with you this nice piece of artwork illuminated in a way Rembrandt would have enjoyed (chiaroscuro).
