The only thing between you and instant death is this little red guy. Be careful! It's astonishing that the only thing protecting us from certain death is this little red guy. I wonder if there is a name for him in French. This is the train station in Verry Salmaise near Charencey in Bourgogne.

Hi Mary. I like this picture of the train passing the level crossing. Nice reflection and just enough to indicate speeding movement of the train. Maybe even a little slower shutter speed would have increased the blurr giving the little red guy even more drama. Scarry that he is so little for such a big job. Nice work. Regards, Irmgard
