Photographer’s Note

The cutting of stone is one of the rare professions making it possible to control a manufacturing process starting from the raw stone until the finished work. The work of the stone mason consists in drawing up the facings of the stone, to cut it on all its faces according to the layout, to trace the diagrams and as well as possible to use the delivered rough blocks of the career. A good physical resistance is necessary, as well as a very good eyeglance, a sure artistic taste and some good knowledge in drawing and geometry.

So we are now at the end of our turn of Gueduelon. In order to follow their evolution you will find their site here.
