Photographer’s Note
For my 200th post, something different.
One of my favourite photo's is "The Clouds Locker" , posted by Fredon (Frederic David). The very original composition inspired me to take this photo. When I was in the same region in July, I was planning to go and look for the little building myself, but, by chance, I found another one (same aqueduct, but about 20 km away from frederic's picture, and not as beautiful :-(). You can see what it really looks like in the WS.
I stumbled into this one when one of my friends landed his glider in a field a few hundred meters from the aquaduct. So I went back the next day, and took this picture. A little hommage to Frederic's great idea. Hope you like it.
PP: a little perspective correction, cropped, sharpened after resizing for TE

Bonjour Wolf

Hi Wolf
Congratulations on your 200 photos.
I like your low perspective and how you've got the grass and builduing so sharp. You've respective the rule of thirds well and the clouds in the sky seem to add lots of depth.

A very odd structure - like a portal to another dimension. Probably due to the angle you chose - good, low POV. Colors and light please me as well.
cheers,

I'm discovering your gallery with that milestone, and it seems to be a rich one...
This minimalism and this grapshim are simply ok and produce impact. What else could we ask for ? That's a composition. A good one.

PS : after the 200th, you'll find so many things...

Hallo Wolf,
Bedankt.
Groeten uit Vlaanderen,
John.

Good idea and well made photo Wolf. A fine solution - a door leading where?
Good use of the format shot from the right low pov and cropped to the pano format.
Using the front avoiding the side panels for sure the best choice.

Boeiende foto, Wolf.
Knap werk!
TFS & groetjes,
Erik
