The Loing at Rogny Photo

Photographer’s Note

This river is not the star at Rogny because they are seven old locks and the Briare Canal; when we come here the locks were on renovation work, we have time to look also at this river...
a romantic one for me; Sisley had live near this river (at Moret sur Loing) and I find here at Rogny the Loing think to the impressioniste artists and begann to have the look from a peint!

tu as raison, on dirait un tableau, une vraie peinture avec ces couleurs, cet arche du pont, et l'on se dit que la vie est "un long fleuve tranquille"mais avec des remous bien souvent....sourires
beau cadrage et les écluses de cet endroit sont superbes
la Bourgogne ceci dit comme beaucoup d'endroits en France est magnifique et enrichissante d'historique

This looks like very nice river of to provide reflective light on the water and showing greenery. Although the water is a bit dirty for swim, it is good for photography scenery. Nicely composed shot.

Lors de mon dernier passage ici la luminosité était déplorable.
Ce cadrage serré est fort intéressant avec une belle perspective aquatique.

Bonjour Christine.
On comprend que les Impressionnistes aient aimé cette lumière et ces reflets. Ta photo fait penser aux tableaux de Sisley.
