Photographer’s Note
Flavigny sur Ozerain is a well preserved medieval village in Northern Burgundy.
It is well known throughout France for its sweet specialties "Anis de Flavigny" manufactured in the old abbey. But, the village has much more to offer, with its narrow streets and gothic windows.
I really love this place and its atmosphere. If you have seen the movie "Chocolate" with Johny Depp and Juliette Binoche, you certainly remember the church and the small town hall.
This region of Burgundy is so rich... that many tourist do ignore the treasures of Flavigny. A real opportunity for all other curious travellers.
I was lucky to have a few rays of sun shining through the heavy sky when approaching the village.
