Photographer’s Note

Cormatin's Renaissance castle was constructed in 1605 for the Marquess of Huxelles, constructed in the center of a park and richly decorated. This castle there possesses an apartment Luis XII who dates back of 1628. The golden rooms are notable, with Claude Gelée's paintings and the portrait of the Infante of Velazquez's Spain. In other rooms there are Nattier's pictures, Le Sueur and Rigaud like that as tapestries gobelinos of the S.XVII. It has a park of 12 hectares, with flowery narrow flowerbeds and great labyrinth of box and a garden to the ancient former.
