Illustration of the hard atmospheric conditions on the high plate of Cézallier in winter. A fall of snow of about thirty cm combined with a violent wind is enough to raise snow-drifts of more than one meter in height paralysing circulation completely.
In spite of the return of the good weather, the trip stops here...
