Photographer's Note

Another photo taken in one of the staircases of the CNCS of Moulins.
The building which shelters the national Center of theatrical costumes was originally a military building called District Villars. Staircases in pink and yellow stoneware of Coulandon armed with iron, with their lifelines and landings, testify of a big perfection in the size of the stone. The renovation of the building was ended in 2006.

Le bâtiment qui abrite le Centre national des costumes de scène était à l'origine un bâtiment militaire appelé Quartier Villars. Les escaliers en grès rose et jaune de Coulandon armés de fer, avec leurs garde-corps et paliers, témoignent d’une grande perfection dans la taille de la pierre. La rénovation du bâtiment a été terminée en 2006.

On semble flotter dans l'espace et on n'a pas de repère pour la dimension. La verrière bleu clair contraste doucement avec les teintes dorées de la pierre.
