Meteorites on a mirror, a photo from Auvergne, Central

What is this? Meteorites in the sky? A montage?

This picture was taken in Lac Aydat, near Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne. There was absolutely no wind this afternoon, so the reflections were really sharp. At the end of the tour, I stopped to take a few pictures of the setting sun when I saw these sharp reflects amidst these stones.

Oh Clement what a shot? It creates an illution that the stones are floating on the water.The calmness of the wind totally reflects the calmness of the overall pic. Well done.

They really do look like meteorites and appear twice their size because you can't separate the rocks from their reflections.

Hie Clement...I liked the idea.The stillness of the water makes the reflection of the sky, just so metallic. And the rocks, just enough to make the reflection a little bit interesting. Imaginative.Observant. A good trait for a good photographer.

Wow!.. Perfect Shot!.. The only thing that does'nt make a real "meteorites rain" is that there is some little waves near the rock on the bottom left corner!. Even with this little thing.. the picture is incredible!!!. You have been very lucky!

Like Rocks in surrealism space, Clement
The picture gots a very progressive look. Like images on the progressive rock albums in the 70's-80's(Pink floyd,Kitaro,Alan parson's project etc.). It's full of inspiration and immagination.

Très bien vu, Clément! Je l'aurais appelée "Flying Stones" :)
Bonne composition, j'aurais ptêt essayé sous un autre angle pour prendre un peu plus du bleu du ciel.
