Here it is: the most beautiful cow in the world! (truism / typical french chauvinism)
I named the Salers, originated from Cantal, Auvergne, Massif Central.
Red robe, lyre looking horns, what a beauty!
(I agree with Brit readers that the Highland is second on the podium ;-)

The breed was used to produce cheese in a mountain area. Nowadays, the Salers is considered as one of the best suckler cows, due to : exceptional ease of calving, mothering abilities,

Salers breed is present in 28 different countries organised with an International Salers Federation.
