Hi, everybody !

I've not been there for a few days, because I went to Auvergne for a little mineral show.
We live in the south of France, so we are used to have a warm weather, and it was so cold there that I wanted to catch a picture of this. That mountain is an old volcano, the Pariou, which is part of the Chaîne des Puys, the most famous French volcanoes. Volcanism in Auvergne is not active anymore, but this feature provides rich mineral water, sweet landscapes, and an interesting geological point of view.
That pic was taken from Clermont-Ferrand, the biggest city in Auvergne.

Belle photo de cet endroit qui représente bien cet ancien volcan presque éteint comme chez nous celui de Chaudfontaine.belle prise des batiments nets et un peu dans la brûme, comme pour se faire oublier.

Bonjour.
Voila un point de vue pour le moins inhabituel et interessant sur les volcans des Puys. J'aime bien ton choix de cadrage et de DOF qui donne un joli relief a la scene. J'aurai peut etre cadre juste un peu plus serre en haut pour eviter l'extreme sommet du batiment qui n'apporte pas grand chose et qui serait plutot de nature a rompre l'equilibre geometrique de la vue. De la meme facon, le panneau 40Km/H aurait gagne a etre entier ou carrement retire de l'image. Ceci dit, je chipote, et l'image n'en reste pas moins des plus interessantes!
