Photographer’s Note

Summer time in Finland is fantastic - very long warm days, a lot of sunshine and nature is exploding.
This is an amazing contrast to the cold dark winter months.
That day was spent on the calm water under these great skies - this later developed into an unbelievable sunset I posted a while ago.

Summer is here again!

Hej Shir,
A well known but still very beautiful landscape. The sky and its reflections are beautiful. The thin line of forest on the shore of the lake is a perfect devider between lake and sky. The colors are good but the photo could have been a bit clearer I think which makes the photo brighter, and creates a more clean and clear Nordic light. To show you what I mean I did a workshop.

Absolutely beautiful picture, with stunning reflections. I love how the reflections are distrorted and the texture of th water there. A very quiet place for sure. Congratulations!

Hi Shir,
Symmetry works well on this one. The clouds have strong contrasts and show well on reflection too. Not much such scenes on this spring, it seems to be windy all the time.

Wow mate....another one of your amazing cloud images but this time with the added bonus of the mirror-like lake.The details and quality are just perfect but the cut has left me guessing what is dominant....sky or lake?Great stuff and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
