Young Man, Old Sea Photo

Photographer’s Note

The whole area was just so still and quiet. The silent vast sea just makes a person feels itself so small in front of this force of nature.
The sky looked like everthing had covered with grey lead, atmosphere was like before a storm (though no storm came). Someone might say that sign doesn't look good there but i think it fits there, can't really say why but it just feels it should be there. I guess it balances the heavy feeling i get off the pic. So i didn't erase it.

Nice view, I like the scaling like a panorama. What is not good for me is the fact that you have cut the picture in 2, just in the middle.

Mikko, the sign doesn't bother me at all, actually I think it adds a touch of color to the image that feels refreshing. What really bothers me, and its just my personal taste, is the horizon line breaking the image in half. Just my two cents.

I think it is a great composition!. Intresting touch of the man just stand still and the sign in front of him. I like the colors too.
