First snow of this winter.
Shot from my kitchen window before sunrise.
I tried different exposure times for this one.
I hope you like my choice, at least the city bus looks quite dynamic.

Winter in Tampere, just like in my place! I like your night photograph, Kari! Excellent exposure and nice composition with crossing diagonal lines... Good colours and details, well done!

Yes, really astonish effect. Snow, lights, street movement - all these elements are well used. Good work.

Kari, this is a wonderful example of the most seemingly mundane scene of modern life being given romanticism by beautiful lighting and a long exposure time... I love it.

Really nice shot. Colors are smooth and the effect is well captured.
Next time you can ask a friend to drive 3 - 4 times around the roundabout to see what would come out of it ;-)
Thanks for sharing

It's amazing. The blurred bus against the sharpness of the compositin is great. A very misty ambience. Well imagined.

Nice One. Excellent exposure, you have caught the bus brilliantly, love the swirl of all the colours coming through the blur. I like the constrast of the van being stoped, it adds a nice sense to the image. The light is really good too, I thought it got really dark that far up north?
Isn't it a great feeling when you can change an everyday view like this one from your kitchen into something a little bit different...
By the way Kari, is cold in Tampere?

It is a city bus? So fast, we can't really tell, can we? (just kiding...)
You captured my attention with your critic to Pablo.
I love the atmosphere of the shot and the long exposure worked very well. It's very nice to see the streets all covered with the first snow. Well captured. Good work!

Beautiful snow, you are fortunate that you have a good view from your kitchen window, it is beautiful to see snow, your timing was good to catch that city bus, well done. In australia our weather is very opposite, its very hot here.

I guess we are following the same theme, with my next post coming later.
Nice post, I really like when busses are taken with a long exposure, specially against the white background.

I do like the light Kari! I also like the of center position of the crossing diagonals. The bus makes an interesting move. The tracks in the snow are a fine graphic in themeslves. Just one little minus - the green light of the petrolstation is a bit of a distraction.

Kari, cette photo est très agréable à regarder cela tient sans doute à la neige qui embellit le paysage mais aussi aux lumières des véhicules. Belle réalisation !
Joyeuses fêtes !
