Kapeenkoski Frozen Sunrise, a photo from Southern Finland, South

Photographer's Note

Shot just a few minutes before sunrise on a very cold day at Kapeenkoski in Central Finland. Temperature at the time the picture was taken was -31C. Running water and such a low temperature give the landscape a very specific look. It felt as if the air itself froze that day!

Il faut avoir du courage pour sortir son appareil photo par une température pareille mais le résultat obtenu est à la hauteur des efforts consentis. Une très belle photo hivernale où la sensation de grand froid traverse l'écran!
