The Cathedral
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The Cathedral, completed in 1852 and formally known as St. Nicholas Church, stands on the northern side of the square. The construction work began according to designs by C.L. Engel in 1830, and was completed after his death in 1840 by his successor, E.B. Lohrmann, who added four little towers round the main dome. He also added two side pavilions for the church bells. |

Hi George - nice timing with the clouds, the combination of glowing clouds lit from below andf the faintly illuminated dome makes it look like a cross between a sunset and night shot.

Hi George,
Nice shot of beautiful architecture! Good composition and lighting! I like red part of the sky. You could change POV to compose red part of the sky in more left. smal clockwise rotating of the shot can make the view horizontal.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Reza
Hi George, you caught the blue hour. The artificial lights like the tower clock, the street lights and the windows do contrast well with the blue sky. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Michael
