[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Railway station is one of the best-known symbols of Helsinki. This granite building, considered the most important work by Eliel Saarinen, was completed in 1919. In style it represents the transition from National Romanticism to Functionalism.
The statues holding lanterns on either side of the main entrance are the work of Emil Wikström.
