Photographer’s Note
Hang glider coming down on a temporary 'airport' made on the frozen lake Näsijärvi.
I'm back from holidays and just at to moment it feels like a crash landing to reality.

Terve Kari,
Nice rendition of fluorescent pink in the blue sky. This image seems showing well your feeling now.
This pink wing reminds me of the motorized paraglider of George Steinmetz.

Good framing to have the hang glider top left with plenty of room so we can anticipate where he will land. Interesting to include some of the other activity in the foreground. The winter cold colours make a perfect background for the vibrant colours of the gliders.

Hi Kari,
A catchy image, for its colours, action and compo. The hazy and slightly pale BG is good to enhance the main subject. I think you did a wise choice to "crash land" in reality, as it reminisces Winter, the opposite of Summer holidays, but at the same time it depicts a leisure scene, which attenuates the violent shock of returning to work. :D

José

Hi Kari
Very beautiful this picture from Tampere.
I like a lot the perspective and colours. Very well framed with the colourful elements in foreground and the 'bird' landing
TFS and have a nice week

Hi Kari,
Very refreshing view for these hot days (here in Portugal).
I like the colourful gear and clothes on this white landscape.
Greetings,
Francisco
