Bleu blanc rouge... mmmmh where did I see this combination before ? Good complementing colors in any case and a nice (cold) action picture. Good you make it soon to Appenzell, hope you'll have fine weather to hike, should it not be you can join me for a home moving party ;-)

Hi Kari, I have often seen para-gliders on a lake, but never a frozen lake. So this shot is very unique for me. Imagine falling through that ice! I like the low POV with 2/3 of the shot being open sky. The placement of the para-gliders within the frame is excellent, the image very sharp and the horizon very straight! TFS, Lisa

Hello Kari,
beautiful action shot with great color contrast of the red paraglide to the blue sky. I like your framing and the shadow of the paragliders on the snowy ground. Well done.

Hello Kari! I wish I could see this 'temporary airport' myself, what an exclusive runway ;))) Mine looks a little drier and brown, I am or we are sitting at the airport somewhere in Colorado waiting that the weather clears up but the sky looks pretty greyish so I have some time left for TE although I mean I sit on some good books too that I should start reading ... great little show you are showing us in this one, very special for most of us as our lakes hardly ever get to this point and I guess no such activities allowed.
