Photographer’s Note
A man made channel out of Kalajärvi reservoir. Length is about one kilometer. At the other end there is a river. It is not quite straight though, there is a bend to the left in the halfway. This is the view from the power plant side. The reservoir has been built in the late 70's but it had been planned for decades due to the flooding that occurred every spring in these areas.
Somehow the real feeling was a bit foggier than it seems to be in the picture. Anyway, the fog was much thicker than it typically is in this area during daylight.
