An abandoned draisine on the yard of a forsaken station in Kihniö beside unused rails. In the background there is the new way of moving logs, i.e., a truck. From what I have read from the newspapers, the rails would be still barely usable up to this point, but only with a speed limit of 30 km/h. The rails used to continue to Virrat, but that place is not reachable (even theoretically) by train anymore.

The rails are not completely forgotten, though. I have understood that there is a possibility to rent a draisine and go for a picnic. The problem is though, that you have to carry the draisine where the rails cross the roads.
