Photographer’s Note

Sunrise light and the full moon on Pyynikki ridge seen across the lake Pyhäjärvi.
Chimney on the left belonged to textile factory Suomen Trikoo, and is one of the many preserved chimneys representing industrial heritage of Tampere.

very nice view across the lake to the lakeshore.
I like this great full moon and the red chimney on the left. I wonder what the blue and curvated thing in the forrst might be ? Good colors and beautiful light.

Hi Kari,
Beautiful autumn colors that are brilliantly complimented by the dep blue of the river.
The old smoke stack and lingering moon are seen in sharp focus and details.

Terve Kari,
A well expose dimage getting good details of moon and ground, my first impression was it could benefit from a vertical framing to better balance the two main elements, did you try it ?
So you came to CH for a few days ? You should relocate here to save on air tickets and CO2 ;-)

What a wonderful combination. The golden light from the rising sun illuminating the autumn colours and a full moon. We all hate tilted horizons; this one is so flat you could use it as a snooker table. :D

Hello Kari! You were a little earlier and your moon is FULL where as my version some days later has a missing side :) I like your clear lines, water, hillside, chimney, sky. A clean shot very well thought over. Good that they kept the chimney, this belongs to our industrial history and should not be forgotten. Nice photo indeed ... greetings from Switzerland, overcast and windy, at least in my Toggenburg corner ... Barbara.
