Photographer's Note
Again a shot through my kitchen window. Compared to the previous version of the same theme, the new building on the left has reached it's final height.
Polarizer used to get longer exposure and thus more light stripes.

Hi Kari!
Very nice and interesting urban & winter & night picture!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, chosen (high) pov, horizontal format, black & white borders and composition are all very good features here and they all really pleased me!

Je préfère nettement cette vision nocturne et hivernale pour ses lumières et ses couleurs. J'aurais bien recadré l'image pour la "concentrer" uniquement sur le rond-point?

Hi Kari,
Very good blue hour shot under such special winter condition. Love the steaks of light created by the long exposure. It makes it as if the traffic are speeding really fast when in reality is probably not that fast with the snow and all. Beautiful details and love the soft texture of the evening light.

Hi Kari,
The light trails are often interesting, but I found your winter version even more attractive.
I can almost hear the muted sound of cars by the snow, something I haven't heard for two years. The snow charged trees are a nice detail.
Cheers!

Hello Kari - Usually we see winter wonderlands as being rural landscapes, this urban landscape is beautiful in its own way. The lights are lovely as they wink and blink in the snow-covered scene. The swirling tail lights dance through the frame. Beautiful colours and a fine piece of work. Warm regards Rosemary

Hello Kari
I always love night shots in the city and this is a good example. Your long exposure has worked a treat: 26 seconds is certainly long! Have you tried lowering the ISO speed as well? I must say I find this a superior photograph to the previous posting from the same location. Good work.

Will

Ciao Kari
A superb blue hour shot from Finland, with wonderful light trails from the moving traffic & good sharpness. Fantastic warm cold colour contrasts between the yellow illumination & blue sky. The snow enhances the graphism. Tfs!
