Back on TrekEarth! I've been really busy lately but not anymore.

This photo is from the lake Ilmijärvi. It's a small lake just about three kilometers from my home.

Welcome back! You do not upload so often, but when you do, you often pick up a gem from your sleeve. I really like the delicate colour tones and the tranquil mood of this photo. The composition is nicely balanced with the still leafless trees framing the photo and the almost totally silhouetted boat on the foreground adding sense of depth. Congratulations!

Very beautiful colours of the sky and they're reflected in the lake.
I like the leafless branches on the foreground and also the line of trees on the horizon that divides the sky and the water. Funny that there's still a white stroke between the dark trees and their reflections ...
And this is all only at three kilometers from your home !

The 'eye' idea is well caught in the way the delicate branches frame the sunset sky and its reflection. The dark horizontals of the forest trees contrast with the angular silhouette of the boat to make it a unique picture.

the lack of time is a well known problem for me too. Nice to have you back on TE. You have taken a beautiful picture with a wonderful atmosphere. I like the view through the branches and the lovley dark silhouette of the boat in the foreground. I also like the colors of the sky and its reflections on the water. Good POV, framing and choice of vertical format. Really an outstanding composition.
