A path out of darkness Photo

Photographer’s Note

I continue with posting dark b&w photos.

I took this one last summer from my home town of Jyväskylä. This place is near the city center, but still the place felt like it could have been deep in a rain forest or something.

Afterwards I reduced brightness and increased contrast of the image and desaturated it. I also sharpened it a bit.

I think this is one of my best shots here in TE, I hope you like it too!

I can feel the mood here ;-) The path is very inviting, I'd like to explore what's behind the trees... Good idea to desaturate, with colours it would probably be more ordinary picture. I was thinking about cutting off some of the top, leaving less space above the path.
