[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the last one in my series of photos from the 28th May hike in Nuuksio national park. It is shot from a rock over lake Suolikas, which still continues about 2 kilometres further north-west but is getting narrower and narrower. The name of the lake refers to its form of an intestine.
Although from this view one could think that the lake is totally deserted, 1 km further along the right side bank there are a few houses. The title however refers to the backwoods, which start behind the lake in the direction of the foreground pine. One can walk about 6 km into that direction without seeing any houses or cultivated areas, just rocks and marshes and a couple of small ponds.

another stupendous landscape that inspires calm and relax. The tree in the foreground gives a lot of depth to the image, thanks also to the good neatness and sharpness. A really pleasant composition, compliments.

Hello Lasse,

Very simple, very bucolic, very peaceful, very beautiful. A good POV for shows this nice place, a good propsect with the rocks and the vegetation in the FG.

I like this POV too, really "in your style". I was going to ask you about people when I read in the note that there are some houses. But does anyone sail or canoe in this lake?
