Photographer’s Note
This is another photo from Liesjärvi National park in my middle September hike there. The path led us to this lookout point with a view to west over lake Tapolanjärvi. Like so often in my photos, the trees are almost totally blocking the view to the lake. :-)
More information about the national park can be found in my previous post here.

Hej Lasse,
I can actually catch a glimpse of the lake somewhere down there. I don't mind not seeing more of it, because you have once again captured that fantastic light among the trees, and as usual with excellent sharpness.
I've said it before, but these Finnish trekking pictures of yours always make me a bit nostalgic for my Värmland childhood. (Although I would hate to live there again).

Hi Lasse,
This shot brings back so many memories of my trip to Finland in the late Nineties.
The lakes are just beautiful.
I like the view through the trees, it creates a lot of depth in the image.
A lovely postcard, thank you.
Regards
Peter

A very fine photo Lasse,
in all senses and from several points of view.
The trees instead of blocking the view of the lake make us more curious and lead our attention to it - it's like peeping through a key hole. The place looks more misterious and at the same time the excellent clarity gives a strong sense of reality as if we were present on the spot. Furthermore the light is very fine and filtering through the trees really gives the impression and atmosphere to be into the wood.
As a composition is well balanced with that stripe of land balancing that of the sky. Again like in most of your photos it's the particular atmosphere that I like and that you managed to capture very well.
Have a nice day,
Donato

Hello Lasse,
I know that you're busy, and thus, now your photos become quite a valuable rarity on TE! :)
I think that a photographer with an artistic mind can find beautiful views just anywhere - and capture them with a camera in the best possible way. I like this composition very much, and I like this special light which partly penetrates through the think foliage and rows of tree trunks.
Very lovely scene, indeed :)
Warmest greetings from damp Moscow,
Elena

Hei Lasse,
Fine high lookout point, although I myself would prefer more open ones. Anyway lake view looks interesting between trees. Exposure is good with controlled contrast between shadows and highlights.
(Google maps on näemmä saanut viimeinkin tarkempia satelliittikuvia Etelä-Suomesta. Harmi että Tampereen kohdalla näkyy pilviharsoa.)

Hi Lasse. Sometimes it is better to leave things to the imagination. The alluring bits of blue glimpsed through the trees make the place more mysterious. Lovely light and the trees are beautiful in their own right. Regards. Klaudio.

Hallo Lasse!
A truly beautiful landscape, and especially these rocks - obviously grinded by glaciers - are fascinating.
Here in addition you have caught a wonderful light in these pines which creates an appealing play of light and shadows. Yes, hiking there must be great ...
Greetings from a cold Siegen!

Ciao dear Lasse,
the trees don't disturb this beautiful image, because they give us the feeling to be really in the wood. Excellent and pleasant the composition, with a perfect sharp and a good management of the light, not easy in these conditions. Compliments!
Ciao, have a beautiful Sunday! :-)

Hello LAsse ,
As you say , the trees are blocking the view in your picture . But this is not a problem at all . It is a pleasure to imagine the beautiful lake . And you manage the forest light perfectly . It is not so easy . Not easy , too , to realize a fine composition without main elements . And you succed in it . I like a lot the tall red trunks of the tall pines .
Congratulations
