Photographer’s Note
Kotka is small town in south-eastern part of Finland. It was founded in 1878. Central part of town is located on island in Gulf of Finland. Lutheran Cathedral was built in 1897-1898. It was designed in the Neo-Gothic style by a famous church architect Josef Stenback.

Hi Vitaly,
interesting shot of the cathedral! I have examined the composition very carefully, and I think you have chosen the best one. This part of a tree on the right serves well like natural framing, and the tree on the left balances it very well.
It's good and interesting to see such photos taken in winter when tres are bare: in summer their leaves may hide the most part of the building!
Very nice colour gamma. Looks like the day was pretty cold.
