Photographer’s Note

Small Suokumaanjoki in South-East Finland revisited. It had been snowing four days before I took this shot, but because there had not been any wind since then, the snow stayed on trees and branches. This part of Finland is located between three large bodies of water (Gulf of Finland, Lake Ladoga and Lake Saimaa - respectively the largest and the 5th largest lake in Europe) and therefore the area is quite windy and new snow usually does not stay in a such beautiful very long time.
