Photographer’s Note
Railway station of Hanko was built in 1949 and represents functionalism. Nowadays passenger traffic to this southernmost town in Finland is sparse. Class Dm12 diesel railbuses built by CKD Vagonka in Chech Republic in 2004-2006 are enough to handle this.
But as a major port there's quite a lot of freight traffic. On this unelectrified line class Dv12 diesel engines do the job. These all-round engines were built by Valmet and Lokomo factories in Tampere 1963-1984.

Hi Kari,
In the thumbnail this seems like an advertisement for toy model railways and trains.
The real picture is very nice, with that colorful mix of the railbuses and the freight diesel engines.

F.
