Photographer’s Note

Aarne Glad is a knifemaker in Hanko, a small harbour on the south coast of Finland. I was visiting a flea market when I stopped at a table with lots of knifes. The man pointed out some of the wooden sheaths with a signature, his own : Aarne. Aarne does not speak english and someone had to help me when I bought one of his knife as a souvenir. Aarne, please take this message as a tribute to craftmanshift and to thank you for letting me taking this picture.

amusant le cadrage, sur la vignette, j'ai cru que cet homme avait une épée dans le prolongement du bras. Mais ce n'est qu'un arbre !Heureusement que tu n'as pas cadré plus bas ! Wouarff ! Lol

Pour les francophones et les malcomprenants en anglais, tu peux avoir une version française sous l'anglais. Tu peux aussi avoir deux fenêtres pour çà. Bien que le site soit US, la langue maternelle n'est pas interdite pour autant !
