Photographer's Note

Embraer 190 of Finnair at the airport of Joensuu.
Lots of Finns fly to southern holiday destinations in winter months. Those who are not familiar with Northern climate no doubt think that major reason for this is cold weather. But at least for me it is only secondary, after darkness. There's just a few daylight hours, and especially November and December are very cloudy.
Towards spring, amount of light rises and March is almost opposite, with plenty of sunshine reflecting from white snowfields.
