Volvo T24 from 1956.
Simple mechanics, moderate power and probably light usage nowadays make these machines last virtually forever. But better not to bother it before spring.
Exposure +2/3 stops. Added some extra glow to snow with curves tool.

I like that scene - old traktor is perfect. Red Color contrast to snow is amazing.
My daughter saw similar in Finland, too.

I like this picture, I also have some pictures of old tractors here in Uruguay but I think they actually died. I like the contrast of red and white, really nice! You might want to use the selective color adjustment tool in PS to make the red redder, I think it should look nice.

Beautiful portrait of a my contemporary, we (me and the tactor) have the same years, I like the contrast between the tractor's color and the snow, the ws is useful also, compliments for your work and for the cold that you have taken :-)

I love it Kari. It makes a change from seeing snow contrasted with green or blue. Your exposure handling worked really well.

A good record shot and the exposure considering all that snow is spot. The tractor is a bit central and I would have preferred it slightly offset,in addition you may have consudered saturating the reds a bit more to make them really stand out.

Nice colorcontrast, a fine thing the nature is so grey this time of year. Compo a bit centered and the twiggs sticking up on the left side are a bit distracting.

Kari, this is impressive. I' love your perspective, and the redness of the tractor jumps out of the monochromatic photo. Well done. I love the form and colour of the overwintering forest in the background too.
You have nailed the DOF also - this is a photo you can be truely proud of.

Interesting winter shot. Good framing and colors, make up of shades of red, white and black. TFS.

Lovely shot. The tractor looks cute with all that wonderful snow. Good colour contrast, POV and details. The tractor is well positioned. Well done!

This could make a rather unusual Christmas card, Kari! Beautiful and very unusual. I like how you've filled the frame with the tractor, but have left enough space around it to show the environment clearly. Good job with the postprocessing, too.

This is a great shot I like the red of the tractor against the white snow.

Fantastic capture! And you didn't have to desaturate the surroundings to make the red tractor stand out! The contrast of tractor against snow is great, and like all good photos, it hints at a good story.
Great crop and a nice simple frame.

this is what I am talking about. You photograph things that interest you. The marks don't matter do they? Shoot what we like to shoot thats what I say.
Guess your used to photographing the snow, hence the oe. Your notes also make us realise what these great machines are put through.
Nice one Kari.
Be back :D
