Photographer’s Note

El parque del Círculo Polar Ártico finlandés es un área caracterizada por colinas rugosas cubiertas de espesos bosques y pantanos, y por los rápidos del río de Raudanjoki. Es un área natural cerca de la ciudad de Rovaniemi especialmente preparada para la práctica del senderismo a lo largo de todo el año.

El área cuenta con diferentes rutas de distintos niveles.

Los denominados senderos de naturaleza son varios pequeños caminos que muestran el ecosistema de la zona, y son: El sendero de naturaleza de Vaattunkivaara de 3 kilómetros, el antiguo sendero del bosque de Könkäänvaara de 5 kilómetros y el sendero del pájaro de apenas un kilómetro.

Otro camino es la ruta de Könkäät 10 kilómetros, pero el mayor de los senderos es ruta de la flora y de los hongos de 30 kilómetros.

Esta fotografía la he tomado desde uno de los puentes que cruzan el río de Raudanjoki.

The Arctic Circle hiking area is characterised by rugged southern Lappish tree-covered hills, shoreless string fens and the majestic rapids and coastal forests of the Raudanjoki river.

It is a wilderness nature area close to the city of Rovaniemi, which is suitable for all-year-round trekking.

The area comprises causeway trekking routes of high standards. Nature trails: Vaattunkivaara nature trail 3 km, Könkäänvaara ancient forest trail 5 km, Bird path 1 km, Flora and fungi path 30 km. Other routes: Könkäät path 10 km.

This picture has been taken over one of the Raudanjoki river bridges.

I've never gone to Finland , but it is the idea that i get about this country : a land of forest and water . Wonderful composition , here , with the large part reserved to the river . Excellent POV and pleasant colors , too .

Hola Carlos,

Mira que España no tiene nada que envidiar al resto del mundo, pero si que es cierto que cuando ves países como este te das cuenta lo perfecto que es nuestro planeta y lo mal que lo tratamos, no conozco Finlandia, si Noruega y desde luego son lugares asombrosos, esta imagen que nos muestras posee una correcta composición, es sencilla pero da buena muestra de la belleza que antes comentaba, un lugar donde perderse y sacar buenas fotos, la luz es especial y crea una atmósfera tranquilizadora, de tonos muy suaves que invitan incluso a pintar un cuadro, si tuviésemos tiempo para ello :)

Hi, Carlos!
You could capture severe northern nature with strong impression and bright colours. I feel as sky is breathing by arctic cold. Red stones give adding charm. Composition is very good.

Muy buena captura, el sitio sobre todo transmite gran tranquilidad,
quizás para sacar ese cielo, es dificil controlar la luz,
los contraste de colores son fantasticos,
en las nubes y los colores detecto quizás un poco de ruido,
pero buen trabajo!

About Your photo: I have to say that it immediately caught my attention in your gallery. It's just perfect! The point of view is well chosen, I like the diversity of the shades of green through the forest, the mist on the river in the far background but the best part is that beautiful impressionistic sky! Nature is simply the best painter and you most certainly had very good eyes to make it a memory! For everyone! Very nicely done therefore and thanks a lot!
