Photographer’s Note
This event is called in Finnish Penkkarit (more formally penkinpainajaiset, in English literally: the pressings of the bench). It is a yearly tradition where the 3rd year students celebrate their last day of school, before the beginning of the matriculation exams. The day of Penkkarit is long and this is from the part when the student have their carnival outfits on (remember that it's really cold on February!) and they're on a lorry, throwing candies to the people on the street.
