Photographer’s Note
A man is working in a tar-burning pit. This is the traditional way of producing tar. Two hundred years ago tar burning was big business in Finland.
In those days tar burning was important part od daily life but now it was mainly a ceremonial event. But still they sold all the tar from this pit.

Hei Mikko,
A good action shot showing vivid flames and this traditional method of making tar. The guy is well placed near the edge. I'm surprised how dark there is, trees hardly visible in the background.
