Photographer’s Note

Después de otro interminable día nublado y lluvioso, las nubes se abrieron por unos instantes para dejar ver el azul del cielo de la tarde ártica. Esta fotografía la hice antes de llegar al aeropuerto de Kuusamo, en la provincia de Oulu, ya de vuelta a Helsinki.

After another long cloudy & raining day, at evening the clouds opened for a few minutes to can see the blue artic sky. This picture has been taken near Kuusamo Airport in the province of Oulu just minutes before flying back to Helsinki.

Hi Carlos,

I like to see cloud photos. You were able to include some grasses in the foreground, which gives a more interest and depth. Simple, but I like it.

Hello Carlos,
I like the mood of this photo. I like clouds and the sky in general! This huge cloud is unusual... all these clouds seem to float so low above the ground.. Very nice reflection of the sky in the water! Good composition which is balanced by the big cloud and the soft yellowish-green grass in the FG.

Hi Carlos,
a very attractive composition! Without that big white sky it would have been just a very pleasant Scandinavian landscape. But now there is dynamic and a wonderful light. Great capture!
