Nice composition
The colors seems of silver and gold. I really like the color of the snowunder the sun.
I like the composition too, with the path leading to inifinity.

Hello David! So you also enjoy winter wonderland :)))) Not that I am surprised and it is me to thank you for all your great support. Fantastic light and how I love the snowed in trees. I like that you can see the track inbetween and it seems that you were not the only one, or maybe it was you and you were on your own. This shot is brand new, November and yet it seems like deep winter. We will have a lot of snow shortly in Switzerland, the weather forecast says that we have to get prepared. Excellent shot, wonderful mood, I like it a lot. Have a good night, Barbara.

Hi David,

This is a really well composed and exposed image. It is a really beautiful scene and I like the way you lead the viewer into the distance using the tracks in the snow and the trail. I think you might consider reprocessing though in CS3 to reduce the amount of sharpening. The bottom half is fine but the top half is pretty noticeably over-sharpened as evidenced by the strong white fringing around the snow-covered pines. Either that or maybe you combined a second exposure for the sky?

Really nice but it maybe needs some tweaking to bring out the best.

great use of the light and yet with a fantastic composition and POV

Hi, David -

Beautiful composition that not only brings out the feeling of winter and snow, but also the low sun in that part of the world at this time.

I don't agree with Bob G. that it's oversharpened; I've seen that effect before with fine lines against a bright sky. But it would be nice to know what PP you did on this image.
