Photographer’s Note
Tornio is the oldest town in the northern Scandinavia. There are many old wooden houses with aesthetic values to be seen all over the town, bearing witness of the days of our forefathers. Luckely a lot is and will be saved for the coming generations. The buildings gives a retrospective view over how the old Tornio City once looked.
This shot of the old Tornio Town Hall, by the main street is a motif that I did post-process slightly by removing an annoying background to the right. The light is natural of a typical winter middle-day but the picture is sharpened a bit.
