Haapsalu was granted the rights of town in 1279 and nowadays it is the administrative centre of Laane County. The old city centre is characterised by a miniature town hall and romantic wooden dwelling houses. By the seaside Promenade stands Kuursaal, one of the finest wooden buildings in Estonia, which houses a summer restaurant. The first mus spa opened its doors in Haapsalu in 1825. Haapsalu was the favourite holiday spot for the family of Russian czars and the famous composer Peter Tchaikovsky among others. Today, people are attracted to Haapsalu by its historic and maritime ambience and by the Paralepa beach.

Hello
Very very good composition
regards
Ahmet

Very nice image making the best of the interesting sky tinged in pink. Overall lighting is very good and I like the detail to be seen in the sea and the path in the foreground.

Hello george,
Nice composition I like specially the variations of colours from the foreground ground, water & sky.
Best regards
JMarc

Hi George,
This composition is kind of strange...
I have to imagine things to interpret the image, is there a stairs to take me down to the water..? Intriguing!
Great colours and details, very nice textures!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi George,
A simple but effective composition. I like the symmetry of the two pilars and the mood created here. The hues and tones all blend together well and there is an air of expectation, as if one is waiting for a ship to come in. I like the generous proportion of foreground you allowed, with the fine texture visible. Well seen and captured, George.

Hi George,
This is real stunner. I dont know what kind of post processing (if any) you have done with this but the colours are really amazing. I only wish you had written a little more about the circumstances under which you took this photo because the whole atmosphere looks so magical.

Hi George. Good work in pp to make this place look so magical. The colors and the mood remind me of Pre-Raffaelite paintings. Something bothers me a bit in there: there is some sort of debris (soda can) in the water by the steps. I took it out in WS.
Cheers
Otto

A beautifull sky over this curious pier with these two pillars leading directly to the water. Was it some kind of official disembarking place ? Excellent sharpness and colors.

All the best,

Emmanuel

Hi George,
Excellent shot! I like the composition, beacutifuo sky and very colourful background. Great shot!
Well done
Thanks for sharing
Best regards
Vivek

Hello George, a sky once again fantastic, I like them like that, they ask for efforts to be well restored, you benefitted from the effect of progressive attenuation of the light in the distances, benefitting from a perfect luminosity in the foreground, sincerely

Great photo George. This view is so pretty. It looks a place of a king where he stoped after a day of works and wars and looks for a this view, his home, his lands.

I like the POV you used here. The only thing is that green shrub on the left side, I know is not possible change the things, but if have the same shhrub on the right side it will be perfect, don't you think so?

regards
andre

I like this very much George. The simplicity of the composition and the wonderful soft colours make for a restful mood in this image.
Good work.
Ben

Hi George,
Gorgeous composition with lovely colours and nice reflections.
Very good details, sharpness and light.
TFS and have a nice day,
Aires

Hey George, what a name for this shot and what a great note. This shot, man, its romantic, beautiful muted colours and dreamily soulful. Hehe! Cheers for posting!

Hello George!
That one is unfathomable. One should think about the many readings it demands... better dive right in that deep and far extending transluscence!
Anyway I may comment, be it only for the subtle but clear details making the symmetry lie, for the sake of harmony. What...I see love, OK, I'll just love and see :)
Thanks, nice compo, F'

Hi George.
Thanks for your comment that reciprocation with pleasure.
This shot seems a background for a fantasy video game.
The lights are fantastic.
North Europe has lights better than Italy, no doubt.
Well done.
