The Island of Vormsi with its juniper fields, seaside meadows, erratic boulders and lighthouses is best toured on a bicycle or on foot. The gravezard of Vormsi church (1632) is famous for numerous ancient circular crosses.

Hi George!
Welcome to TE.
You chose lovely interesting composition.Really famous graveyard.I never see stones in that shape. Thanks for sharing.

george

It is a nice shot, very interesting the shapes of the crosses and the field around, you got to show it in a good way.

Hello George, a very interesting place. The composition is very good but I would like the first cross a bit more in focus (it is only a matter of personal preferences). I like also the black & white choose...
Regards,
Javier

That's an interesting one. I think I would have darkened it a bit more with post-processing but the composition is allright. The little lack of contrast is the weak point of your picture, that's quite a pity.

I made a workshop. Just hope you will think it's helpful.

Hello George,
Your choice of Black and White was a good one. I really like the way you captured the sunlight. Your depth of field looks a little off in that the cross in the foreground is not quite in focus but the composition itself is marvelous! I tried a workshop for you just for fun!

Interesting unusual shapes of crosses in contrast to the trees trunks. I do like sunrays exposing crosses and the one shown at the front of photo. Good job. Greetings T.

I love the lighting of this shot - being lit from the back-left resulting in the long shadows is very effective.

Well done!

Hi George,

Great subject, I like the light, and your composition with the trees and the crosses.
Also good that you chose black and whit for this photo.
