Photographer’s Note

The island Saaremaa is known with its windmills.. there you can find windmills of two kinds..
one is standart - it's holands windmill..

but there is also special one (which you can see on my photo) - Saaremaa windmill.. As you can see it has a "tail".. so you can turn it searching for the wind..

Beautiful image of this very different old mill in the materials empolados for his construction to the Spanish, but equally beautiful.

hi there, sofia! a very interesting subject and nice capture. overall, a poscard-like photo of the old saaremaa mill with nice colors. nonetheless, i would like to add some of my subjective considerations: i do not find the light is very good. i suspect, you took the photo at a moment when the sun hid behind a cloud (since the skies seem rather bright). warm, direct sunlight would have brought out the wooden nature of the mill's structure more. second, i probably would have left more "breathing" space for the mill and also for the tail, which seems to be a very interesting detail on its own. hope you don't mind my nitpicking here. thank you for sharing this feature of Saaremaa with us.
